Once the live event is created, you can manage the stream status of your event, preview your event, and control interaction functions in the control room on the BlendVision console.
This article details Control Room functions for managing your live event and interaction functions.
Access control room of your live event
To access the control room of a live event, please login to the BlendVision web console and follow the steps below:
1. Access the “Livestream List” by clicking on “Live” in the left sidebar.
2. Click the control room icon on the right side of your live event in the Livestream List
- Note: The control room icon will be unavailable live events that have been archived.

The control room contains some key functions to help manage your live event:
- Confirm live information/stream settings
- Manage your stream status
- Monitor your stream/chatroom history
- Monitor stream metrics
- Manage your interaction features
Confirm live information/streaming settings
Livestream name and Live ID
On the upper-left side of the control room page, you will see the Livestream name and and unique Live ID of your event:
Note: This Live ID is used for integration with the BlendVision APl.
Stream setup
For live events with input from a signal format, you can confirm the stream settings for signal pushing through the following methods:
1. Integrating with the BlendVision API: please refer to Developer Guide
2. Via the settings icon on the upper-right side of the control room page:
- When you click the settings icon, you can confirm and copy the below information:
- RTMP Link: The main RTMP link for pushing the live signal
- RTMP Link (Backup): BlendVision provides another RTMP link as a backup, except for ULL enabled events.
- Stream Key: Necessary information for signal pushing.
- Stream Key (Backup): Another Stream Key as a pair of RTMP Link (Backup). Please use Stream Key (Backup) once you switch to RTMP Link (Backup).

Manage your stream status
In BlendVision, you can control and manage the status of your Livestream via pressing the buttons shown on the upper-left side of the control room, such as canceling, previewing, or going live.

Monitor your stream/chatroom history
You can monitor and preview your Livestream and chatroom directly with the player in the control room, allowing you to check the video, audio, and cover image to confirm the stream quality in real-time.
Player preview
The behavior displayed between the control room player and the player that the audience is viewing in the showroom/embed iFrame may be different.
- In the control room, the Livestream can be played from the “Preview” status for a rehearsal/signal test before officially starting.
If Live-to-VOD is enabled for the event, the VOD will be playable after the “VOD Ready” status is displayed. - In the showroom/embed iFrame player, content can only be played under the “Live” and “VOD” statuses.
Under other statuses, the player will display the cover image you set up.
Chatroom preview
If the chatroom is enabled for the event, the chatroom preview will also be shown in the control room.
The control room provides different functions to manage the chatroom available in the showroom/embed iFrame player. Please refer to Manage Chatroom while Live for more details.
Monitor stream metrics
BlendVision provides real-time updated graphics for getting accurate and up-to-date insights regarding the performance and trends of your live event.
The graphs of each metric will display under the player. You can switch graphs by clicking on a different metric.
- Noted: Metric data is updated every minute.
Bitrate (Input)
This graph shows the bitrate of the input signal received by the stream server from the “Preview” to “Ended” status.

For live events with input from a signal:
Values will be affected by your encoder’s settings, or the network environment between your encoder and BlendVision's systems. -
For simulive events with the “Broadcast Mode” set as playback mode:
The default values will be blank.
Audience
This graph shows the number of online viewers of your live event from preview to live end.
- Note: Audience count is calculated by their unique ID.
FPS (Input)
This graph shows the FPS of the input signal received by the stream server from the “Preview” to “Ended” status.

For live events with input from a signal:
Values will be affected by your encoder’s settings, or the network environment between your encoder and BlendVision's systems. -

Manage interaction features as an admin
You can manage and confirm the settings of interaction features enabled for the event.
Chatroom
You can edit the admin name which is displayed in the chatroom and confirm the settings when opening the chatroom. For more details for managing your chatroom, please refer to Manage Chatroom while Live.
- Note: Once the event is created, the publishing period of the chatroom will be uneditable. For editable fields after an event is created, please refer to Edit a Live Event.
You can also check the Sticker & Word filter settings that are enabled.
Poll
BlendVision provides a poll function that can be used for real-time feedback in chatroom during a live event., The poll results will be published when the poll is ended.
