This article details how to create a task on the BlendVision AiM service.
Start creating a task
- Click the “+” button on the left sidebar, and click Task to add a new task which you can assign a set of contents to specific users or groups.
- Task Name: Enter task name (Maximum: 200 characters)
- Start Date/End Date: Set start date and end date of your task that you want to schedule from.
- Content: Add contents listed on “Explore” > “Knowledge Hub” on the left sidebar.
- Assignee: Add the users’ email you want to assign
- Description: The description of your task (Maximum: 500 characters).
- Required: Enable to set as a required task
- Recognize watch history: Enable to memorize the watch history for the same contents so that the assignee doesn’t need to rewatch them. This setting cannot be revised once you create the task.
- Set lowest passing score (Unit %): Set lowest passing score for the task. This setting cannot be revised once you create the task.
- After you complete the information, click “Create” to create a new task.
- The created tasks will be listed on “Home” > “Task Assigned By Me” tab on the left sidebar by different statuses (Ongoing/Scheduled/Ended).
Task Assigned By Me
You can have a quick check on the amount of the assignee, due date and assignee’s progress of each task and confirm if the task is required on the thumbnails.
Click “See Details” to confirm the created task’s detailed information.
- Click “Edit” to edit the information or add more contents or assignees to the task.

- Task Name
- Start Date/End Date
- Content
- Assignee
- Description
- Required
Click “Save” to save the changes or Cancel to discard.
My Task
The assignee can confirm the tasks assigned by others on “Home” > “My Task” tab on the left sidebar by different statuses (Ongoing/Scheduled/Ended).
Also, you can have a quick check on the due date and progress of each task and confirm if the task is required on the thumbnails.
Select the task you want to check or continue, then click “Continue” to continue the task.
The information of the task will be displayed at the left sidebar, you can continue your content on the main page or click the icons on the upper right corner for more actions.
Click icon to create a new task (As default, the content will be included to the task)
Click icon to confirm the response details
Clickicon to edit, change the permissions and delete the content
- Edit: To edit content from different types of documentation, please refer to the Content section for more details.
- Permission: To edit the content’s access permission, please refer to Content Permission Management for more information.
- Delete: Click Delete icon and “Delete” button to delete the content. Please note the action can not be undone.
Once you complete the task, the progress will be 100% and display “Complete”.
